Final Hand washing experiment:
CC: has Assets

TO DO:

MUSIC:
A time needs to be set up for auditions. Matt is key person on this, and others can join in on reviewing the music. If Barb is not present, then we will have James and Gerritt review or audition singers with Matt.
Still need the 2 songs: Hermit and Agar.
Thursday possible audition. Audition need to pay attention to if the style of the songs matches what we want and the talking part character that can pull of the talk part.

Elizabeth: website or portfolio link with objective and assets. Add the objectives and Assets on the portfolio site.

Matt: We will work out a timeline and asset list.

James and Gerritt:
After IVDV script reviewed and finalized revise the animation.

ISLAND WALK AROUND ENVIRONMENT:
New parts of island done
Kyle working on:
- Capt cabin
- Ship interior deck
Logan working on the island - top of cliff where the hermit and tiki section.

Start doing a time split between Pirates and Matrix.

Changes to IVDV after test: (James notes)
- *Mixup answers: Add one more dragging label picture table therefore total 3 dragging labels picture table. - Change the order of column for experiment 6
-* Reinforce the reminders for memory hints: The guys are planning to scrap the pop ups and add reinforcements.

- Add audio everywhere, sound effects to get better idea of results
- Less dialogue
- Speed up animations
- Animate the icons
- Work out bugs in experiments
- Up interactivity
- More intensity in animations

All the test kids got post answers correct.

Songs;
Remaining 2 songs.
- need Agar & Bacteria song midi file: Matt will double check on CD he got from Bob for all the songs.
- Who will be singing the songs. Need to set up an audition for remaining 2 songs
- Get the 2 songs recorded

Vocals needed:
- Bacteria song: male hermit and 2 rats one boy and one girl scuzzy rats.
- Agar 2 proper rats: boy and girl. 3 Agar plates mix gender.

Intro song on the backburner.

2-5-07 meeting

To do:
Matt:
- Matt will set up a recording session for the 4 Matas next week
- Set up auditions for other singers later this or next week or a tape of them singing the songs.
- Purchase Jam Pack for songs at bookstore
- ask the boys to work on embellishing the 3D environs as we can.

Barb:
- Barb will write Sherwin (at CMI) so that we can record up there in their *hopefully finished by now* room
- Barb will work on the text for the experiment dialog.

CC:
- Mock up walk around island with 4-6 sick pirates and each pirate will have 4 possible dialogues/jokes.

- BARB'S NOTES: CC thinks we need to embellish the 3 d environments for the walk around. He is going to have pirates that offer jokes, and work on an interface so that we know how they walk around. At some point, we can have the pirates give blurbs about content if needed. (but one way blurbs only, no interaction). With stepped through, location specific text that they offer. He'll plan on it being onscreen text with eventual plans to turn into audio.

Gerrit, James (Kyle & Logan if needed)
- Work on the IVDV 10 item test

Kyle & Logan:
- - Matt will ask the boys to work on embellishing the 3D environs as we can.

Songs Update:
Tiki & Hermit to a point can't where animation can't continue until we get the songs.

- Gerritt has tested how well a flash movie plays inside shockwave... so far so good on faster machines. On older macs, not so much... We're still clearly developing for "new" machines. The Carl Winter movies (at 30 fps) were pokey. We still think we'll be ok at 15 fps... and we're going forward as planned.

- The midi files work... we can open them and use them.

- In production on song animations... but at a stopping point without final audio.

- 4 Matas should be ready to record next week. Matt will set up recording time.
